Fall Whitetail Season openings are now available on a limited basis from October thru January at our Southern IL properties near Indian Point.

• Early Season bow 5 day hunts OTC tags available for private land.

  • This is a fun time of year to get out in the woods. Most deer are in a fairly predictable pattern from late summer and completely unpressured. We find the first sits can often be the best, whether you're sitting over the last few green soybeans or freshly falling acorns. Cold Fronts during this early period can present the best kill-ratio of the year.

• November rut bow only 5 day hunts OTC tags available for private land.

  • These are the weeks that bow hunters dream of, where mature bucks are frantically chasing does in daylight hours.  This is as premier as Midwest whitetail hunting gets. The most bucks will be seen during this time, but specific bucks are hard to target due to their random movement patterns. 

• Special Gun seasons availability, tag draw required through DNR.

  • Gun season in IL is special and is the highest success rate for the average hunter. These spots are VERY limited, so be first to reserve.

  • Gun Tags must be applied for through IL DNR by Aug 16th 

• Late Season Archery Hunts

  • This is the time of year when hard cold fronts make for more concentrated afternoon feeding and the bucks that made it through the season are on  dependable patterns in large numbers. Many big bucks and does are harvested during this time. To add to this experience we recommend booking on a half and half hunt, where clients hunt waterfowl in the mornings and head out for deer in the afternoon.

Winter Duck Hunt openings are now available on a limited basis during December-January near our Southern IL properties at Indian Point. Dates TBD this fall...

Spring Turkey Season openings are now available on a limited basis during April 2025 at our Southern IL properties near Indian Point and will align with the 4 "seasons/weeks" that the DNR allows.

• Turkey Special Gun seasons availability, tag draw required through DNR. The sound of the Gobble in the hills, its like none other. The thunder will make your hair stand up! Nothing like the spot, stalk, and call in action!
