Wildlife Habitat Improvement at a premier level doesn't happen overnight. It takes extensive planning and following through over a multi-year timeframe. While there are things you can do to see some immediate results, we make plans for the long run. Adding acres of Anilogics food plots, natural browse, fruit and nut bearing trees, native grasses, and a good mix of row crop work well for us to hold deer throughout the year. By providing this diversity of forage to bedding we are able to hold more deer with quality genetics and potential. Working with your local USDA, Forestry Department, NRCS, and other State Wildlife departments is a great start. For each of our farms we develop a 10 year plan with actionable guidelines and seasonal/annual schedules. If you don't have a viable plan or are not satisfied with the plan you currently have, contact KD@IndianPointHuntClub.com for further information or consultation.
